Some specific services include hormone therapy, IV therapy, medical weight management with GLP-1 medications, ED shockwave therapy, CO₂ laser vaginal rejuvenation, skin tightening, Botox, and mind-body psychology services for patients across Orange County and the greater Southern California area.
Who is Dr. Marlene Roberts?+
Dr. Marlene Roberts is the founder and lead provider at VITALI. She holds a PhD in clinical psychology and is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP, APRN). Her integrative approach to functional medicine combines anti-aging treatments, hormone balance, sexual wellness, proven cosmetic procedures, weight management, and mental health to help patients optimize how they feel and function at every age.
Where is the clinic located and what areas do you serve?+
The clinic is located at 500 N. State College #1100 A, Orange, CA 92868. We serve patients throughout Orange County — including Orange, Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Tustin, and surrounding communities — as well as the greater Southern California area.
How do I book an appointment?+
You can book online through our Tebra patient portal (linked from the 'Book Now' button at the top of every page) or call the clinic directly at (833) 200-1148. Walk-ins and new patients are welcome.
Do you accept insurance?+
Labs and diagnostic testing are coded and submitted for insurance coverage. Concierge medical services and many of our wellness, aesthetic, and rejuvenation services are paid out-of-pocket and are not billed through insurance. For specific questions about coverage for your visit, please call (833) 200-1148 — our team will explain pricing and payment options before any service is performed.
What should I expect at my first visit?+
Your first visit is a personalized consultation with Dr. Roberts to review your health history, goals, and lab work where appropriate. We then build a tailored care plan to reach your goals. There is no one-size-fits-all protocol — every plan is built around the individual.

Hormone Therapy

What is bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT)?+
BHRT uses hormones that are molecularly identical to those your body produces — typically estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone — to restore balance lost through aging, menopause, andropause, or medical conditions. At VITALI, BHRT is guided by advanced lab testing and delivered as pellets, creams, or injectables, customized to each patient.
How do I know if I need hormone therapy?+
Common signs of hormone imbalance include persistent fatigue, low libido, mood changes, sleep disruption, weight gain, brain fog, and loss of strength or motivation. Lab testing combined with a thorough clinical evaluation determines whether hormone therapy is appropriate for you.

Weight Management

Do you offer GLP-1 medications like semaglutide or tirzepatide for weight loss?+
Yes. Our medical weight management program includes physician-supervised use of GLP-1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide and tirzepatide, combined with peptide therapy, nutrition guidance, and metabolic labs. Treatment is individualized and monitored to maximize results and minimize side effects.

Body Composition Assessment

What is a Body Composition Assessment and what does the InBody Scale scan measure?+
A Body Composition Assessment at VITALI uses the InBody Scale, a clinical-grade multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance analyzer (BIA), to quantify your skeletal muscle mass (SMM), body fat mass and percentage, visceral fat level, segmental lean analysis for each arm, leg, and trunk, basal metabolic rate (BMR), intracellular and extracellular water, and phase angle — a marker of cellular health. The scan is non-invasive, radiation-free, and takes under 60 seconds. You then meet one-on-one with Dr. Marlene Roberts for a 15-minute consultation to interpret your results and build a personalized action plan.
How often should I repeat an InBody body composition scan?+
Most patients repeat their InBody Scale scan every 4 to 12 weeks to track measurable change in skeletal muscle mass, body fat percentage, and visceral fat — particularly when starting hormone therapy (BHRT/TRT), GLP-1 weight management with semaglutide or tirzepatide, a new strength-training program, or peptide protocols. Regular reassessments let Dr. Roberts adjust your plan based on objective body composition data rather than scale weight alone.
Why is visceral fat important and how does the InBody Scale measure it?+
Visceral fat is the metabolically active fat stored deep around your abdominal organs and is strongly linked to insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic inflammation. The InBody Scale estimates visceral fat level using multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance, giving you and Dr. Roberts a trackable number to target with nutrition, strength training, GLP-1 therapy, or hormone optimization as appropriate.
Is the InBody scan better than BMI or a regular bathroom scale?+
Yes. BMI and standard scales only report total body weight and can't distinguish muscle from fat. An InBody Scale scan separates skeletal muscle mass, body fat, and visceral fat, and shows segmental balance across each limb — so you can confirm whether weight loss is fat loss (good) or muscle loss (a red flag), monitor sarcopenia risk after 40, and track strength gains accurately during medical weight management or hormone therapy.
How should I prepare for my InBody Scale body composition scan?+
For the most accurate reading, come hydrated, avoid heavy meals, alcohol, or intense exercise in the 3 hours beforehand, and wear light clothing — you'll be scanned barefoot. Avoid scanning immediately after a sauna or shower. Patients with a pacemaker or who are pregnant should not use bioelectrical impedance; let our team know in advance so we can tailor your assessment.

IV Therapy

What is IV therapy and what does it help with?+
IV therapy delivers vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants directly into the bloodstream for full absorption. Common formulations support immune function, hydration, energy, recovery, skin vitality, and detoxification. Sessions typically last 30–60 minutes, and ingredients can include vitamin C, B-complex, magnesium, glutathione, and amino blends.

Sexual Health

What is shockwave therapy for ED?+
Low-intensity shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment for erectile dysfunction that uses focused acoustic waves to stimulate new blood vessel formation in the penile tissue. It is drug-free, requires no downtime, and is typically delivered over a series of short in-office sessions.
What are the P-Shot® and O-Shot®?+
The P-Shot® (for men) and O-Shot® (for women) are regenerative treatments that use platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood to support sexual wellness. PRP contains growth factors that help stimulate tissue repair, improve circulation, and enhance sensitivity.

Anti-Aging & Regenerative

Can shockwave therapy treat joint and musculoskeletal pain?+
Yes. We offer focused shockwave therapy for chronic joint pain, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The treatment is non-invasive, drug-free, and stimulates the body's own healing response — most patients notice improvement within a few sessions.
What is CO₂ laser vaginal rejuvenation?+
CO₂ laser vaginal rejuvenation is a non-surgical treatment that uses precisely controlled fractional laser energy to stimulate collagen and improve vaginal tissue tone, lubrication, and comfort. It is commonly used to address symptoms of menopause, postpartum changes, mild urinary leakage, and intimate discomfort.

Aesthetics & Anti-Aging

What is a Vampire Breast Lift?+
The Vampire Breast Lift uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) drawn from your own blood and reinjected into the décolletage and breast area to improve skin tone, texture, fullness, and the appearance of cleavage. It is a non-surgical treatment with minimal downtime.
What aesthetic and anti-aging treatments do you offer?+
Our aesthetics and anti-aging services are designed to restore, refine, and enhance your natural features with subtle, regenerative results. Offerings include Botox® and other neuromodulators, dermal fillers, CO₂ laser skin resurfacing, and advanced skin tightening with T-Shape 2 technology. We also provide cellulite reduction treatments and regenerative options like the Vampire Breast Lift®. Each treatment plan is personalized to support healthy aging, improve skin quality, and deliver results that look natural — not overdone.

Well Woman

Do you offer well woman exams?+
Yes. We provide comprehensive well woman exams covering preventive screening, reproductive and sexual health, hormone evaluation, and lifestyle counseling — all in a private, unhurried setting.

Mind-Body & Psychology

What is mind-body and psychology care at the clinic?+
Drawing on Dr. Roberts' doctoral training in clinical psychology, our mind-body services integrate psychological insight with medical wellness. This may include stress and anxiety support, behavioral health consultations, and lifestyle protocols that address the connection between mental and physical health.
